Dawit Asmellash has assisted US exports in two agencies.
Asmellash has been a Foreign Trade Regulations, Outreach & Education Specialist with the US Department of Commerce, Census Bureau, since 2013.
Previously, he worked for two years as a Special Assistant in the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
The EXIM is the official export credit agency of the United States. EXIM is an independent, self-sustaining Executive Branch agency with a mission of supporting American jobs by facilitating the export of U.S. goods and services.
Asmellash started out in the private sector at Lockheed Martin where he was a Business Operations/Account Manager.
In 2012, he received an MBA in International Business and Supply Chain Management from Howard University.
