Myrna Soto is the chief cyber security expert at Comcast.
Soto is Senior Vice President Global Chief Information Security Officer of Comcast Corporation. She aligns and develops security initiatives with enterprise programs and business objectives to ensure that information assets and technologies are protected across all of Comcast.
That includes Comcast Cable, NBCUniversal, and Comcast Spectacor, a hospitality firm.
She joined Comcast in 2009, after being Vice President of IT Governance and Chief Information Security Officer at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas.
Soto, who earned both an MBA, and an MS in Industrial Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, and a BA in Psychology from Florida International University, is also the Executive Champion of Comcast’s Hispanic employee resource group, Unidos.
She has received multiple awards including the 2015 CSO (Chief Security Officer) Compass Award.
The daughter of a Cuban father and a Puerto Rican mother, Soto is an avid golfer, and an Executive Management Committee Board Member of HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council) and a Member of the Board of Directors for CMS Energy & Consumers Energy.
