Geronda Montalvo is a Postdoctoral Investigator and a Visiting Scientist.
Since 2013, Montalvo has worked at DuPont doing research on peptide-protein and protein-protein interactions to understand their use in biotechnology.
Previously, she worked on her PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics, which she received in 2012 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Dupont, or E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, is involved globally in material, chemical, biological, and engineering sciences. Montalvo earned her BS in Chemistry from Clark Atlanta University, a private, historically black university.
Montalvo is a member of NOBCChE (National Organization for the Professional Achievement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers), and was a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Fellow while pursuing her doctorate.
