Nupur Kapoor wants to end hunger, save lives, and protect the environment.
For Kapoor, a software developer, social activist, and folk dancer, that is all in a day’s work. She founded a Women Who Code network for the DC region to bring together existing and aspiring women software engineers, leading the growth to 1,300+ members and more than 100 events in the first year.
In January 2016, she became a software engineer at the digital language resource Dictionary.com, in San Francisco.
Kapoor received her MS in Computer Science from The George Washington University and her BS in Engineering, Information Technology from the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (State Technical College of Madhya Pradesh, India).
