Sciencedaily.com reported about Stan Larkin, 25, who recently had a heart transplant, at the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center, after living for 555 days with a wearable heart device.
Fun facts: In 1980, an African American doctor, Levi Watkins Jr., a Johns Hopkins cardiac surgeon, was the first physician to successfully put an automatic defibrillator in a human heart.
