Alexander Anim-Mensah is a soccer-loving, problem-solver.
Anim-Mensah is the Engineering Manager of the Warewash division of the ITW Food Equipment Group at Hobart Corporation.
His portfolio at Hobart includes research, technology, product development, and intellectual property, testing, customer and field issues resolution and training.
Hobart provides commercial kitchen and grocery store equipment, plus Traulsen refrigeration systems and Baxter bakery equipment.
The native of Ghana unwinds by playing computer game soccer. He is a fan of Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL, the Columbus Crew in the USA’s Major League Soccer, and at the international Level he says, “I am a Manchester City fan.” Meaning he never envisioned that Leicester City F.C. would win England’s Premier League this season.
Anim-Mensah also gives back as an External Advisory Board Member for the University of Cincinnati Biomedical, Chemical and Environmental Engineering Program.
Always a serious student, Anim-Mensah earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, an MS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University College of Engineering, and his BS in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
Currently, he is pursuing an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operation and Value Chain Management at MIT.
