Theodore D’Williams is an environmental engineer focused on energy.
D’Williams has focused on energy efficiency since 2008 when he matriculated at Syracuse University, and later earned his BS in Environmental Engineering. As an undergrad, he was a Corning scholar and an Engineering and Technology winner at an Emerging Researchers National Research conference.
At the Chicago office of DNV GL, a Norway-based international risk management company with customers in the oil and gas and energy sectors, D’Williams, who also got his BS in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University, wears several hats.
The Kingston, Jamaica native provides technical support to Commonwealth Edison’s commercial and industrial customers’ energy efficiency programs, reviews energy efficiency applications, and does energy savings calculations and confirms equipment specifications and site inspections. In 2014, he was presented with his MS in Chemical Engineering by Syracuse University.
D’Williams is a member of the Society of Environmental Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
In 2015, the former collegiate fencer, received an Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Certificate from Stanford University. He also has certification as a Stress and Rescue Diver, from Scuba Schools International, License 800699E3391935713021-US.
