Luis Leon is a quick study in his chosen field.
In 2012, Leon, now part of the geotechnical design team for a one-mile-long bridge that will be built in the Port of Long Beach, CA, was promoted to Geotechnical Engineer at Arup.
It is a London-based multinational service firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants, and technical specialists. He had been hired by the company, as a Civil Engineering Intern only two years earlier. Prior to that Leon was an intern at Infrastructure Engineering Corp.
After being graduated in 2011 from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BS in Civil Engineering, Leon then earned an MS in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
