Top Colleges and Universities for Latino STEM Graduates
Excelencia in Education, the source on Latino educational achievement ranked the top Colleges and Universities awarding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) degrees to Latinos by academic level. Excelencia in Education has not changed its ranking since 2014.
In 2013, only nine percent of all STEM degrees went to Hispanics. Most of the STEM graduates attended Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) in California, Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico. At HSIs, over a quarter of the student body is Latino. The top institutions that Latinos in STEM attend are below, from associate to doctoral degrees.

San Jacinto Community College (SJCC), TX is a community college in Pasadena, TX. SJCC has three campuses in and around Houston and partnerships with area institutions such as the Texas Medical Center, NASA’s Johnson Space Center, the Port of Houston.
