Superpowered Microbes Could Turn Plants Into Fuel
Sciencedaily.com reports that scientists at the Currie Lab at the University of Wisconsin – Madison think they have found a new way “to make fuel from otherwise unusable plant material.”

Researchers think that Streptomyces microbes, that look like fungi and that live with insects, including leaf cutter ants, see above, may reveal abilities to break down matter may be duplicated. The result could be a new way to manufacture fuel, “from otherwise unusable plant material.”
