Namrata Gandhi moved from India to Florida to keep water clean.
When Gandhi was studying in west central India at the University of Pune for her BS in Civil Engineering, she might not have expected to wind up in south Florida in Miami.
But that is where the environmental engineer specializing in water and wastewater design and treatment, for the Florida Department of Transportation, is now.
Of course, in between, there was a detour to the Missouri University of Science and Technology where she received her MS in Environmental Engineering. Since then Gandhi has earned her Engineer in Training license and Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector license.
