On May 14, 2016, Johnson will receive his hard-earned BS Degree in Geology, with an emphasis on oil and gas, from New Mexico State University.

He began his journey towards this happy spring in 2011 when Johnson took his first geology class at Fort Lewis College. He then earned and AS in Geology from San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico.

Each summer, he used internships to bolster  his experience and contacts. Johnson worked, in succession, from 2012 as a Geology Intern at Red Willow Production Company, an affiliate of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. He was then an Engineering Intern at Resolute Energy, and a Geology Intern at the Navajo Nation Oil and Gas Company.

Good luck to Calvin Johnson.
