Cyber criminals attack german nuke plant
BBC News reports that the German power company RWE says that hackers infected, the country’s highest output power plant’s office computers, USB devices, and a fuel rod modeling system. Fortunately, the Internet is unconnected to those areas prohibiting the virus from activating.
RWE said in a statement, “All sensitive plant areas are decoupled and designed with redundancy and protected against manipulation.”
