Rodriguez, also known as Mari, is Vice President of Research & Development and Corporate Quality Assurance at Welch Food Inc.

She leads all technical aspects of the company’s innovation, renovation and margin enhancement agenda

Previously, the Bikram Yoga fan, worked at food and beverage companies including Campbell Soup Company, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, and 19 years at Cadbury PLc where started as a Senior Food Scientist.

Welch’s is the processing and marketing subsidiary of the National Grape Cooperative Association of about 1,000 family farmers, in the United States and Canada, who own the company and grow the Concord grapes.

She received her MS in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Florida and her BS in Chemistry from the Universidad Catolica de Puerto Rico.
